Inside of the cabbard is made of several leyers of stitched leather, harden and formated as a wooden scabbard. Covering is made of thick leather sewed at the back side of scabbard. The advantage of leather scabbards over wooden ones is their longvity, owing to significant flexibility for hits as well as pin downs (falls during the fight).

Scabbard has a decorated scabbard end fittings, characterisictic for the end of 14th century, patterned on St Paul William de Breyne's sword.
Lower fitting of scabbard is patterned on St Andrew Lutrella's sword (1395) from London cathedral.

Belt is black, has "IHC" stampings and fittings from London.
